About the Department
Established in 1959 as the Department of Industrial Engineering, the Production Engineering Department at VJTI initially offered a part-time postgraduate diploma in production engineering. Today, it is a hub for multidisciplinary education, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. With strong industry ties through live projects and visiting faculty, the department fosters innovation and practical expertise in manufacturing and industrial engineering.
Academic Programs
B.E. Production Engineering
4-year sandwich-type program with live industry projects, recognized by the Board of Apprenticeship Training.
M.E. Production Engineering
2-year postgraduate program focusing on advanced manufacturing techniques and industrial projects.
Diploma in Industrial Engineering
